Time is flying by quickly! We are now in the second month of 2012!

I would like to thank all of our members that attended our inaugural breakfast and the meetings that followed. A special thanks to 2012 NAR President, Moe Viessi, for installing officers and delivering the key note speech.

Our meetings were very successful in laying out a plan to proceed in 2012. Work groups were established to conduct specific tasks to help organize our efforts. These include Web site development, Education, Budget, Convention, Standing Rules, and Sponsorship. Our District Leaders will coordinate with other Councils and the Florida Realtors to participate in District events to help with education and recruitment of members.  We have great plans for this year, but need your help and input to accomplish them. My request from each and every one of you is “Get Involved”! I have sent out direction to each of the leaders of these groups, so if you want to contribute, look below to see the names and contact information of these leaders.

Keep checking the website for improvements. I am looking forward to providing private content for members as a benefit of membership and this is an enormous undertaking. It might take a while, but it will happen. Please take the time to “like” our Face Book page, CRB Florida Chapter. Look for updates on Chapter activity.

I expect by the end of this year we will have a budget, standing rules, a fabulous web site, record attendance at CRB education sessions, a one-of-a-kind convention in August, and a long list of sponsors helping us afford all of the benefits that we are providing our members! Please join me in making this dream a reality. After all, as CRB’s we are extraordinary people. Let’s make 2012 an extraordinary year!
